Hey, been spending this morning trying to fit my new headunit (ida x305). Got the panel off around the gear stick, but the 2 screws that are 90 degrees that need to be loosened, aren’t loosening!
I’m using a standard screw driver (that fitted perfectly) to try and loosen them but they are not moving with using all my strength (I’m going in from the glove box to try and turn the left one)
In doing so, I have now threaded the screw and can no longer turn it!
I’m starting to panic now as I feel I may have stuffed it up and can’t fit the head unit any more L
Can anyone help and advise another way to loosen these screws (or at least the left one? will a socket spanner work?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
