HKS exhausts?!?!?!?

what is the score with the HKS hi power 409's? cause heard some bad stuff and that they are massive. i have got an ep3 and want a half decent cat back system for £500 or under.

I've got nothing bad to say about mine, tail pipe is on the large side, but it looks ok in my opinion. Sounds nice too, not raspy and not overly loud under normal driving. However I did buy mine second hand for a bargain price. No signs of it rusting either.

HKS' looks spot on, made me want to buy one.

If I'm honest, I only bought mine to match the reg plate.
Stupid reason for buying an exhaust. However very fond of it now.
Just the right amount of noise.

Have a look at the Piper system, its under £400 and is a good quality bit of kit. Contact ABP or CPL

Check out the dyno's, the JDM exhausts are proven to be better than these systems.

The HKS is made in the EU under licence from HKS, and is mild steel, so will rust within time. Piper is no way as good quality as the JDM systems.

A "good" system for under £500 will have to be 2nd hand
