I deleted Iain's thread in error so I have just collated all his updates in to one post (sorry mate!)
Picked my new car today, i purchased such a fine car from Torque GT in devon. just like to say a big thanks to them for prep-ing the car so fast for me to collect in such a short time  .
so here she is, RED  JDM EP3 Civic Type R 28,000 miles with 17"SSR alloys, Mugen intake, Mugen ECU, up-rated fuel injectors, Spoon final drive, un-known coilovers, braided brake lines, up-rated pads and 5Zigen cat back exhaust.
got some rays wheel nuts off unit8 to stop my wheels from getting nicked!
also i changed the gearbox oil, the oil that came out was too thick compared to the Honda MTF3 oil and fitted my J's racing magnetic bolt. feels so much better and easier to shift gears. also went to see Tom at TGM's to pick up my new top mounts for the OEM suspension he got me for free, while i was there i got some Eibach front camber bolts ready for when i do the 4 wheel alignment at work.
also i got a new surround for the radio as the JDM surround doesn't let the auto leads adaptor fit.
old one
new one
also fitted some kenwood speakers in the rear, haven't got round to doing the fronts yet. i will get some interior pictures when i fit the front speakers.
went to CPL today and picked up this! :WOOT
Got back and fitted it straight away and loving the sound
right time for a up date! i replaced my hand brake lever as the chrome was peeling off the release button and it was quite sharp, while i was there i fitted my Mugen hand brake lever cover. looks ace!
before
done!
in all it took me 20 mins!
also for the people asking for the pictures of the doors here they are!
got this through the post :-D
5Zigen Proracer grounding kit, didn't pay £202 for it they had it on a deal for £84 inc postage. :WOOT
went on a rolling road day with ek9.org at surrey rolling road, some very nice ek9's, dc's and a s2000 turned up 20 in total, was a very good day out.

the result was 220.5hp at the flywheel. was very happy with the result and so was the dyno guy. :-D
Fitted my disc's and pads at work, good job too as both calliper sliders were seized! . I had to get the gas bottles on one to free it off, they are now cleaned up and greased up so it hopefully wont happen again! I also took the rear pads out and cleaned them up and greased them up as they were dry as a bone causing squeaking noises. While I was there I chained the brake fluid and the state of the old fluid was black  Also on inspection of the old brakes i could see the disc's had been heat spotted and where the sliders were seized the pads had worn at an angle. The feeling after bedding the pads and disc's in are amazing compared to when everything was seized and worn out. :-D
little up date, i bought a J's racing front strut brace with the ETD bracket ready for when i get my J's ETD. i got the brace powder coated in near match to J's gold as they could due to brake fluid leaking on the bracket turning it to a rusty gold!lol
some of you might know i have now got dottys old rbc fitted to my car. this ment i had to get rid of the mugen ecu as it was burning fuel quicker than an arsonist! so i sold the mugen and bought kpro. i got it mapped by romain at artech this was because other tuners were too expensive and could not fit me in for at least a month, plus they were completely wrong on my door step. romaine dyno'ed the car with all the new mods with the mugen ecu on and it made 218at the fly. with kpro and a lot fiddling got the figure of 228at the fly. i'm happier that it is running better on the kpro and should not use so much fuel, the afr was bad on the mugen. one thing i do miss is the aggressive engagement of vtec of the mugen ecu, something to put back when i get another remap!
small up date got these off shino88, cheers mate! will be fitting these tomorrow with my energy suspension engine mounts.
up date!!
carried out my service with valve clearances checked, also fitted a TGM baffled sump, fitted my gruppe m and modded scuttle, heat wrapped and fitted a dc sports manifold, gear box bush kit, J's throttle body and heat wrapped my B-pipe. Took it out for a spin and i cant believe how much it pulles! its like all hell has broken loose!
small up date, remap postponed to the 6th feb. Bought a Tegiwa brake master cylinder stopper and fitted it today. i can say it makes so much difference and no more spongy pedal!
Picked up a Buddyclub bucket seat with low position rails for £270! Also i got a Bride low seat rail for the passengers seat. Spent today fitting the bucket seat, replaced the passengers seat with the drivers as the passengers seat wobbles due to the reclining mechanism is knackered. While i was there i swapped the backs over as the drivers one was broken, common fault. I also ran in to problems with the Bride seat rail as the rear brace would hit the dip in the base of the seat, modified the rail by removing the brace. sound cowboy ish but it is very solid when all bolted up!
went up to snetterton yesterday, stayed the night in a hotel and went on track today with HOT. Was a great day all in, helped a lot that i had these babys on!
Small update bought a J's Racing replica cam cover done by Brencivic looks ace!
