Jen's NHB Civic

Messages

I bought my NHB EP3 in September 2011 to replace my 106 GTi which unfortunately was beginning to show it's age and stuff had started to go wrong that I couldn't justify replacing. It went to someone who could justify fixing it and is now a track car and looking awesome.

Pics of civic when I first bought it :-

In March I purchased a set of Tein Superstreets and had them fitted.

I also around that time bought a new Mugen Replica splitter which went straight into storage untill I could get it painted. I then bought a rep Mugen grill, which stiill needs sorting a bit...

but got bored and annoyed so off they went to get properly done last week.

After fitting the coilies nothing else much happened for a while, we've had the worst weather ever and the civic was basically used as a work horse / sleeping quarters for the Highland show

NOTE the attempt to polish the scratch marks out the bonnet where some flithbag thout it appropriate to have relations on it. No matter, carbon bonnet on list of things to do.

Fitted my wind deflectors and gave it a polish a few weeks ago.

Will update with pics of wheels fitted.

Get these fitted in the next few weeks, want a Honda badge on that grill and the Mugen badge moved.

First pic of Enkeis on Saturday - true to male form other half forgot to put centre caps on because he is a nugget.

So yesterday my valeter friend took me under his wing and we gave the car a quick machine polish just to get the worst of the swirls / scratches out.

Pretty pleased with it and think the wheels look 10x better when the car is clean and the tyres are shined, as I wasn't very keen on them being black when he first drove the car out and my first thought was 'wished I'd gone for anthracite'

But they have grown on me, but I still think I'll change them maybe next spring after the winter.

Things to do:-
- Fit Lip and Grill
- Paint those manky callipers black
- Anodised wheel nuts
- Buy, paint and fit Mugen Style Spoiler
- Tint rear quarter windows as boot is already tinted (honda swapped the boot from another car)
- Exhaust system - probably custom from CAS
- Intake

and whatever pops into my head next.
Comments and CC welcome :)

Welcome to the forum, car looks quite cool. Although I refuse to have my dog in the car because dog hair is FTL, plus he hates his harness that he has to wear in cars lol.

Breacan's my boyfriends mum's dog and he rolls with me quite a bit. He doesn't shed much at all and just sits shotgun with me quite happily.

He's a dude :D

I will say that the car is acting as a slimming mirror... I have a typical boxers legs and they are NOT that skinny.

I'm happy with the way the car is looking, gutted I missed out on a Mugen spoiler by 3 minutes yesterday :(

Haha, bunch of pervs!

Looking good. Like the wheels, normally prefer light coloured wheels on dark cars but that does look pretty special when clean & shiney.

Nice car :)
love them enkei wheels on ep3s, Liking the stealth look aswell bet its hard to keep looking that clean.
