EP3 Local hondata guys in cornwall/devon or near?

Hi,

i'm new here, i've owned my ep3 for a year now, my insurance cost has gone down etc and am looking at various things i want to do to my car.

My question is where would people recommend as i live in the middle of no where down in the far south west in Cornwall so is there any where any one can recommend down Cornwall/Devon?

I can't help you as would have no idea of what's in your local area, BUT, I'd expect it to be useful if you provided information on what you actually hoped to do to the car. As different aspects of tuning/ modification are usually undertaken by different garages.

It's also worth noting that a lot of people travel great distances to get the service they're after, as opposed to keeping it local.

Yeah thats a fair point, um i guess thats the thing though, i'm not really sure yet just looking for options i guess.
 
Then I guess the basic questions that need answering are: what are you able to spend?, and what sort of driving do you currently do? (ie, does it spend its nights in an industrial estate car park or out putting in personal bests around the local B roads).
 
If you want stuff fitting, my mate can help you but you’re gonna have to come up to Barnstaple area. He and 4 others of us run a drift and rally team so we’re pretty decent with the tools and knowledge.

Torque GT are based in Ashburton Devon.. again a little trip, However its closer then the popular specialists people use on the forums which are either around london or up north.
 
Sorry late reply, so i would be looking for someone 'local' (less driving than TDI North / CPL / etc) for a hondata mod either k100/kpro and remap. is there anyone nearer to this part of England that is recommended? wouldn't be for a little while yet.
 
I'm from Devon. Looked into before and in the end decided it's worth the trip to reputable tuner. Eurospec is closest.

Will be a good drive home.

Thanks, how long does it take to do? i can probably work it around my trips "up north" also a friend lives in Derby so that could work out well for TDI north

Take the trip up to EFI parts in Runcorn. Really wouldn’t let anyone else map my car.
