Loxy's Plasma Blue WRX STi Saloon

What's Darcy Blake on about then ??

Not a clue. I've only made one post on Scoobynet! Had a look around for someone else with the Avatar, but I can't see anyone. :|

Parking sensors?
Is this your wife's car?

Ah this old chestnut.

If there is some form of tech that stops me reversing into a low level post on one of the many unfamiliar car parks of the buildings I visit with work, I'm going to fit it.

I'd rather be man enough to admit that than be posting pics of the damage I'm going to have to repair.

Jayne's still not driven it yet, despite me badgering her to. I've still not heard what it sounds like from outside the car yet.

Had a quick spin out in this earlier. Very nice. Much more refined than my FN2.:)

Needs that 340 pack though John, never mind what the boss says. If you don't tell her she will never know. ;)

Cheers Paul, and I agree. It feels about as quick as my FN2 did up to legal speeds. That extra 60ftlb at 3,000 rpm would transform it.

I'm just wary of flashing the plastic again now I've cleared it.

Saw one in the flesh tonight and have to say it does need a wing and it did sound quite nice when pulling out of the pub

Did it have the low level spoiler like mine Ben or bare OEM and spoiler-less?

The cheapest I've seen the big wing for is a company call HT Autos. They specialise in Subaru body kits, lips, defusers etc. so it's not an official part.

Unpainted it's £500, so you're probably talking £650 by the time it's ready to go on the car.

It's a lot of money for something I'm not really bothered about!

My mistake you posted abit of it at the "stealers" with your fn in shot, someone else on the post has your colour with the BGW :)

Missed the low level spoiler on yours, suppose that's what happens viewing it on a phone. The one I saw was completely bare, but I guess the little one gives it something and for £650 I'd rather get the steering wheel :D

In it for updates when the 340R kit gets fitted. ;)

Very nice John. Seems both you and Nick have landed on your feet with excellent cars. Jealous much?

Personal view is the spoiler looks a tad odd being so small, kind of like the non-turbo'd versions they sold of the bug-eye. I would also opt for darker wheels, the silver seems to stand out too much against such a dark paint colour.

Yet, seeing as my, and other peoples, opinions are irrelevant, get out there and have fun in it!

The BGW is how much!?!?!

Yea, screw that then mate. Didn't realise they'd be that much, probably wouldn't be high on my list then either.

First couple of small mods fitted.

Parking sensors as mentioned:

OE wind deflectors. Direct from manufacturer in Australia rather than Subaru so they carry the manufacturer branding.

Looks great John, looking forward to having a good nose around this at JAE if I don't see you before.

Any other plans short term or just to enjoy her?

Cheers. I'll be demoted to the non-Type R section of the stand this year.

I'm thinking of getting some Rally Armour mud flaps but they are bare coin shipped over from America.

Apart from that probably just a good geo setup.
