Loxy's Plasma Blue WRX STi Saloon

He's some boy. I watched him on this lap at my mate's house who lives right on the course, and we saw him clip and fully mount the kerb going around the blind bend there at a horrendous rate of knots, and he sorted it out so quickly you wouldn't even have believed he hit the kerb.

Anyway, hijack over, sorry Loxy!

P.S. You should bring your car over here for some de-restricted fun!

Actually. That sounds just a little bit gay.

I think this a repost but in car of the "moment"

The car was a near standard USDM apart from a de-cat exhaust and remap, brake pads, spring and damper adjustments for the bumps, a cage, seats and harnesses and some special Pirelli Trofeos.

Picture is from the practice run the day before.

Mine sounds nothing like that unfortunately. Needs the centre cat delete and some decent back boxes.

Sounds mint!

To be honest this makes me realise what a hero Tony Pond was doing a 102 mph average lap in a huge boat of a Rover 827 (Honda V6 Powaaaah) in 1990. What a boy. He used to live in a house in my village, about 100 yards away. He's been dead nearly 10 years now I think by memory.

He only has 170bhp ish in this, and also don't forget the circuit is much smoother today and several bends have been straightened since.

Given that BL had a well known rep for tweaking the press cars to the point of grenading (and often beyond), the chances of that Vitesse being anywhere near standard are minimal

I saw one of these in white at uni the other day. With a BGW.

I must admit I wasn't sold at the look and colour combo when you first posted pictures Loxington, however in the flesh they look quite purposeful.

You definitely need a BGW though.

BGW on anything is amazing.

BGW on rally reps is a must.

However, I think Loxilator has to buy a new boot lid, which is a lot.

I've still not priced it up yet to be honest. I'm at Subaru on Tuesday with it so I'll enquire then.

Zero interest on the wanted thread on Scoobynet, but it is a small audience so understandable.

Can the current one not be modified? Done professionally like.

I asked that of the people who make the unofficial BGW. This is Mark's response:

Hi John,

Unfortunately you will need a new boot lid, as the low level spoiler fixes along the middle with about a million fixings.

Best regards,

Mark @ HTAutos.

They don't do a boot lid and he's made it harder for me to buy his spoiler saying that, so I took it to be an honest reply.

I guess it would be possible but how good it would look and how long it would last is another matter.

Leave OEM until you can find perfect match IMO Johnny Boy.

£10'000 Honda's these are not.
