Looking awesome Mark, tints suit it well too.

What's the timescale for being able to pick it up now its in the country and MOT'd? still waiting on the DVLA for certain bits?

Andy is hoping the IVA tester can book the car in Tuesday or Wednesday. Then it's a clean up and wait for the reg to come through.

Hopefully it'll be ready by next weekend or the weekend after

Just oredered some WedsSport wheel nuts and locking nuts from Matt at Injection Imports.

Still waiting for the papers to turn up at the IVA place for testing.

Andy has rang VOSA today to chase up the paperwork. There's a 3 week delay.

So it looks like it'll be a Whit week pick up.

I just looking at the amount of paper work involved in your import and time to. My god we see blessed with the extremely simple system we have here in Ireland. The most I've waited to get a car once it was off a boat was three days. The wait and all the paper must have you driven daft.

Its very frustrating, especially when you consider that if my car was 2 years older it wouldn't need an IVA.

Itll be worth it in the end.

You will have it soon Sims, I have just ordered a service kit for a car I do not own yet #keen

Lol same difference.
On what level is the ' annoying the importers with phone calls'?

I don't know the limit? Ask Andy if he's p*ssed off with me yet?

Yes!
I'm still trying to get parts, it's driving the Mrs mad.
I'd just save the cash and get them but I'm on 39 hours at work so no spare cash

Excellent, I do love it when a plan comes together. Just as an aside, I had all the parts for the teg before I picked it up also.

I have been reading about suspension on these, will you be going for the Koni yellow rear shocks?

I'm holding off on a decision yet mate until I've driven it. With it having 17's on it could be a nicer ride but I won't know until I've lived with it a bit.

I've heard that Koni are a better option than AST.

Definitely. Don't go for the ASTs. They are a coilover kit in reality and need rebuilding like any other coilovers, just that they have the tendency to require it more often than most.

The most successful set-up I've heard of over and above a set of Meisters is the Mugen suspension but with Spoon springs. Baller way of doing it, but rode very very well by all accounts and superbly damped. I'd bet the Mugen set-up on its own would be very complimentary though.
