Looking for Driveshafts now, as there is a possibility that I will snap the OEM ones when I get slicks on. Exciting times.

I would very much appreciate that Mr.Hazz. Cheapest Ive found are from America at £1200, before shipping.

You managed to squeeze the 15's over the brakes then?

I havent physically tried them yet, I will probably take 1 to TDi tomorrow and give it ago.

They will fit over OEM disc's and Calipers, and I cant see the Spoon Calipers being much bigger that the OEM Calipers.

If they dont fit, I have already got a buyer for them, so I wont lose anything.

Id guess Spoon calipers are thicker then then OEM

Yeah they are but not by much. Im hoping the 10mm Spacers will give me that extra space I need. Like I said though, if they dont fit, I have somebody who will give me what I paid, so not losing out if they wont go on.

Another Update. Firstly the Drag Wheels and Tyres fit....

The Battery has been relocated, it will sit behind the Passenger Seat.

and the AEM Fuel Rail is on...

The Exhaust, Downpipe and Waste Pipe are now all in position. These are not the best pictures, taken on my phone, and they do absolutely nothing to highlight how good the Welding is, the full fabrication of it all is awesome.

And one last photo. The chipped Type R badge...

I kept the badge to keep up with the Stealthy theme of the car with the Rotrex, now Ive got a huge Intercooler sticking out of the front bumper, I might actually buy a new badge.


Its not far from completed now.

They are all taken with in the last week or two. Bumper isn't on it yet as everything still needs to have access to it. Im back at TDi tomorrow with my better camera, should be able to get some better pictures.

We will see on Friday. It will still have the OEM Valve Springs in, so not massive yet. It will be going back to TDi in a few weeks for the new Drive Shafts and Valve Springs, where Paul will hopefully up the power.

Thinking about entering Time Attack in August at Anglesea.
