My EP3, TDi Turbo Kit. 420bhp + 300ftlb @ 12Psi. 12.6s @119mph, Street Tyres

Right a quick update. I was supposed to be getting an Intercooler made up from Pace, but they let me, saying it was in the post, when they didnt have the materials to make the bloody thing.

So Intercooler has been ordered from Garrett in the US.

My brakes have been swapped for the Spoon Calipers and 300mm Brembo Discs and Ferrodo 2500 pads. There is a bolt missing from the Calipers, so Im going to have to get one machined.

Intake manifold is on, Turbo Manifold is on, Turbo is on, Tdi are just devising a way of getting the Waste Gate plumbed in.


Big step forward today, just a shame about the missing bolt.
 
Yeah the bolt has annoyed me. Suppose thats the risk of buying second hand. Not much trouble getting a bolt made up though.


Theres not much sensible about this car anymore :)

Not really, I like the OEM wheels, plus its stealthy. I will be on the look out for two 15 inch wheels, specifically for Santa Pod.
 
Forgot to mention, the 330mm D2 Big Brake Kit and Japspeed 4-2-1 Exhaust Manifold are now off the Car and will be in the For Sale Section probably tomorrow evening.
 
The should fit over my new ones, probably need some 20mm spacers though.

They wont fit over the D2's, my 17's only just managed to go over them. In fact it was so close the calipers ripped the weights off the wheel.
 
read this whole thread whilst sat on the bog. Good read :). Those spoon brakes look so mean. how much did they set you back?
