My new JDM dc2 type R Build up!

Replaced the cv joints, that is all

Painted the rocker cover green today, the pics dont show the colour properly.

I thought i'd try something else last weekend, a USDM rear light conversion (edges of the rear lights light up)

Sorry there is not a huge amount of detail, hopefully the pictures will
speak for themselves.

So first i removed the rear lights

You can see where the bulb holder is meant to be in the molding

I put a starter hole into it, so it would be centered.

Then i drilled the correct size hole

As you can see, you will need to file the light mould to fit the bulb holder.

All fitted flush

Then simply wire the bulb holder to the tail lights (black is earth, red with a white pin stripe is the live)

Result....

Very nice! Prefered it with the OEM wheels though and you should get the front bumper resprayed, it looks grey.

Tbh i liked the OEM rims too, but they were too small and far to narrow, plus they were very common being standard wheels. Nice to be a litle different and wheels are the only way to do it as there is no chance in hell of bodykits etc

Yeh the front bumper is getting painted the new year, cant see the point in getting painted during this bad weather, fresh coat of paint for the summer

Just ordered some hids, and finally fitted a new front badge

Was pretty damned dirty :lol: so gave the teg a bath

Need to order some adjustable camber arms next

Some more small updates, finally fitted some HID's. Recieved them this morning. 4300k ftw! Ignore how filthy it is.

Also got some new pics with Lee and Andy
