My NHB EP3R

I certainly could of done that time aye. I was supposed to be on a cool down lap but got carried away and braking down from 135ish to 45 for the final chicane probably wasn't a good idea just before pulling into the pits.

Agree not a good idea slamming on those Captain Hook anchors at 135mph just before pulling into the pits ahah. After reading that it makes me very happy and knowing the stoptechs/ds2500 love being punished with hardly any negative effect to the break system makes me think I made the right choice in picking this break setup. Thanks once again and can't wait to punish mine on track!!

Been a busy boy, upgrades look good mate. Good to see chassis and brake upgrades before more power.

Thanks mate. It was a cold busy day for me and can only say- well worth it in the end! The brakes are amazing and handles miles better. Will be getting Meister Zeta R's in a few months time!!

Just another update on the EP3:
Today I started making a template for my rear vortex generator so here's some pictures of my work!

Materials used- A few sheets of A4 printer paper, a pen, gaffa tape and sharp scissors to cut tape off.
Very easy to create first template, then the next step will be to trace it to something of harder material like cardboard!
Once that's done I will be sending that off to someone I know, it might take a few weeks until I get it all back!

Next up was the fitting of the front canards:
These are made of a very hard but flexible plastic so very pedestrian friendly as there's no sharp corners so no one gets their limbs chopped off :)) ^.^
Started by removing the lower part of the bumper and once I worked out where everything goes, started up by marking the holes and then started drilling.

And now a few shots when the car is on the ground. Will be painting the chrome screws black as IMO I don't think it looks nice having shiny bits on show!

These front canards can be adjusted for more or less downforce just by loosening the screws and sliding the brackets up or down!
Desperately need a Mugen adjustable rear wing, badly!

Thanks NYA, some guy I know saw the car earlier and said the car looks like the Batmobile and I just couldn't stop laughing, it was funny! I just dread to think what he's going to say when I get the vortex generator on and the Mugen rear Wing! Oops! :))

Any news mate?

Hi Dazza, everything has been put on hold for now as I've just moved but hopefully will be fitting my Defi gauges and control unit and Mocal oil cooler within 2 weeks time if time permits, so busy at the moment!

As I prepare to supercharge the EP3 I thought I'd start with parting ways with the HKS 409 b- pipe as it might be a bit restrictive for my power goals and gas flow. But decided to keep the 409 backbox.
The whole b-pipe was custom built with 3 inch 304 stainless steel and what a beauty!
Work started by intalling new flexi section to the 4-4-2-1 manifold:

Once the flexi section got sorted the b-pipe build was on it's way:

Also had the backbox moved closer to the bumper as I didn't like the way it stuck so much out and looks a lot better now!
