Yeah you bitches, you think you are all that with your Civic Type-Rs, well let me tell you something in the style of Lord Trick when he switched to his Evo - I have seen the future (past), and it's German.
After the Civic I messed around with a few different cars, I always liked the raw nature of the high revving V-Tech engine but it was never enough - you know what I mean? and the interior, well, let's not go there, it was very very plastic.
So what next? New Type-R, no too obvious, and too common. I wanted something that was indivijual and German because everyone knows they make the best cars.
So, this Thursday just gone my new car was delivered to me. Just spent 10 minutes detailing it and, you know, getting it nice and clean ready to cruize the Promenade tonight.
I think you'll agree, after the Civic, there are only a few cars you can choose that'll improve your experience.
This wee beastie comes in with group 2 insurance (had to use a specialist broker) and thanks to the mods (I'll get to them later) is pushing out around 55bhp. Yes, that's right, 55bhp
I'll start with the spec.
.New Falken "rubber" all round
.Genuine "aged" BBS alloys (no centre caps)
.Full suspension kit 40mm drop -gmax
.Mk1 golf gti dics and pads
.All new wheel bearings, yeah, ALL NEW.
.New top mounts
.Jetex cat back system
.Clear indicators
.Blue side repeaters (mega kewl)
.Black rear lights (mean)
.GT arches and sills
.Simota induction kit-enclosed (for more BHP gainz)
.F.Tuning ECU chip (yes really)
.New plates
.New plate surrounds (genuine mock German)
.Badgeless grill (keeps you guessing: "Is that a Porsche?" as you overtake
.New arm (I don't know what that means either, but it was in the advert)
.Full service. That's a FULL service
Interior.
.Removed glovebox lid and stereo to save weight
.Gearstick shows 4 speeds, it's actually a 5 speed box
.Removed clip that pushes drivers seat forward - I never leave the drivers seat so why would it need to move?
.Removed rear heated screen fuse - it drains power like air con don't you know
Price paid: £400.00
So here she is, prepare to salivate. 1.043 litres of 1993 power.
