red lug nuts

Rays.

Expensive, but you get what you pay for.

They're locking, dont mark easily, lightweight and look the nuts

They can only be fitted with aftermarket wheels though, you'll be lucky to find red nuts if you're running standard wheels.

i had those set of muteki lug nuts on my ctr with standard rims for 1 year now , no problem .......... perfect fit

Well you shouldn't have been running them unless CTR oem wheels are tapered seat like aftermarket wheels?

cheers for yir wisdom hasnic;) , i never thought about the tappered end of the nut.
oh well i shall have to wait till i get my new rims in the summer:D

No worries dude, 99% of the time it would be fine to run them i'm sure, but the different seat shape for the nut on OEM and aftermarket wheels means that the tapered nut, although will fit, won't actually sit properly and you and up with a very narrow point of contact on the wheel, instead of spreading the load IIRC:)

Bit of a bummer:mad:, was looking into getting some of the red anodised ones for when I have my alloys refurbed and painted black. I swore a little when I saw the price for the Rays ones but as you said they are the nuts .

Can you get them from anywhere who specialise in alloys or are there only certain places that do these adaptors?
