I refitted my factory airbox earlier on. Fitting went ok except for the fact I found out I was missing 3 screws that hold the airbox together (previous owner didn't supply them ).
Also, when I started the car the "check engine" light stayed illuminated and wouldn't turn off. I am 92.5% sure that I replaced everything that needed to be replaced. Anyway, I disconnected the battery and reconnected it and it hasn't come back.... is it normal for this to happen if you change back to the stock airbox? (I should point out that the induction kit I had in there was using the sensor that measures air....
Also, I managed to put a screwdriver through this weird hole which seems to have been covered with electrical tape....

Can anyone tell me what this is, and whether it is supposed to be covered by black electrical tape? Kinda urgent really, don't want to drive the car until I know whether its supposed to be covered or not.
