Thanks dan ;). Wasn't sure on them before the refurb , kept opening the box and thinking "what have I done"

But when I saw them on fri morning was really surprised at how good they look!

Car feels better for them too, I'm really surprised at how much more responsive , quicker steering, better grip, less understeer, and accelerates a shade quicker.

3kgs lighter than oem a corner :)

Well so far this month I've acquired and fitted this :), not pristine but it was suitably cheap , Gruppe M induction kit, dare I say JDM y0!

I had no instructions and the box was already assembled so I whacked it on in the dark while it snowed . Probably not one of my better ideas as the person I bought it from had the maf on the wrong way up. So it ended up looking like thisImageUploadedByTapatalk 21365811036.497658.jpg
Maf is actually meant to be upside down out of sight so it doesn't damage the ram. Gruppe m sent me instructions so realising things werent right I whipped the top scuttle and heat plate off, then removed and dismantled the box. Cleaned and re oiled the K&N which was stinking and filthy,ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21365813484.510033.jpg whacked it all back together, test closed the bonnet with the scuttle off to make sure the duct and the box fit together, tweaked a little to get it lined up. Refitted everything and went for a spin :)

After a couple of days Felt like I'd lost a bit of throttle response and gained a little flat spot so i decided it was worth popping for an etune. Currently on revision 2.6 of a custom etune from VitTune.

The Etune process is quite interesting from the initial 1.0 base map and 7 revisions then onto 2.0, so far low cam fuelling is done, in the middle now of crossover mapping , had 3 revisions today and done 100 miles of data logging for Vit. I've never really done anything with flashpro before other than load the group n map, so this has been an eye opener. Very cool software , watching yourself drive and all the sensors working etc is really impressive.

The IAT and MAP pressure was of interest, watching the Pressure increase with speed while the IAT dropped makes me think the Gruppe M is doing its job. At idle IAT was 15c At 4k revs in 5 th ambient temp 7, IAT was 11c @ 0.9bar map pressure.

Car starting to pull well now, power delivery is very smooth, throttle response is really snappy, torque feels improved and still a fewbmore tweaks to go I think.

Stuck a set of EBC Redstuff in the rear calipers on Friday as the pads were tanned. Feel a bit more bites than oem :)

Have an FD2 TB under the spare bed :), name down for a solid fabrications group buy on a new race mani. Once I've got that pick up an rbc or rrc fit them at once and map :)

And I forgot , I'm inheriting the meerkat custom stainless steel exhaust system from a certain mugenised DSB Fn2 you may have seen in magazines :D as the owner wants to go single exit!

Bear in mind live data log on real road hence wavy lines due to road surface changes. Up from 196bhp to 209bhp, and from 131ft/lbs to 149.9 ft/lbs

It's good but I want more lol

Well I got my "post winter clean" done on Saturday :). Took me about 6 hours all in, my back was killing me buy the end :( Worth it *** :)

Rinsed , double bucket with megs nxt, rinsed , ag detarred , rinsed , megs clay barred :QD'd , double nxt bucket, dried, hand polished AG Super Resin. 2 coats tech wax 2.0, AG Gloss Sealed, fast glassed windows, Vinyl megs qd'd , wheels cleaned , AG detarred, polished, sealed and tyres dressed. Need iron x and some tardis though :/

Removed my oem mudflaps, an alarming amount of mud and tar trapped between them and the paint work. Not putting them back on as they need colour coded and that doesn't make it go faster lol
