hello and welcome.

Your build looks good. It will be great to see the finished result.

welcome, but who do you think you are? me??..lol Nice to see a fellow canuck joining on here.

Loving the upgrades so far. The rear spoiler and skirt is 100% better.

We had the K20a3 over in the UK but it came in the 5 door EV1 chassis.

The K20a2 or K20a with the 6 speed box is widely renowned as one of the all time great combinations. It would be a great upgrade for your EP3! :smt023

But it wasn't offered in the three door version?

I would seriously like to get my hands on a K20A Integra Type R powertrain. However, it goes for 5-6'000 USD (3'200-3'800 GBP). Which is a LOT of money compared to the K20A2 (which is more widely available due to our RSX (aka Integra) Type S. We'll have to see how my destiny pans out on that one.

I've added some more recent pictures. We had a HUGE Honda gathering recently. There was over 1000 cars that registered and that's not counting the un-registered ones. These pictures are taken while driving to the show during sunrise. Hope you all like it.

very nice mate, much better with the 17" type-r wheels. is it a legal requirement to have the orange reflectors on the front bumper?

were the sir's made in swindon with the ukdm models?

Yes the "reflectors" are mandatory in Canada. As a matter of fact, they are a little better than reflectors, they are lights. We require having "lit up" side markers on all vehicles. Some manufacturers have them integrated into the headlamps, and others have them on the bumper, fenders, etc. In this case it seems that they added them to the bumpers.

Our SiR EP3's were made in Swindon as well. I immediately found that out when I first got the car. I read the VIN and realized that the first letter was an "S". I've never seen an "S" in the beginning of a VIN before. The first number of our VIN's denote where the vehicle was assembled. In this case, Swindon. It's the only Honda on this side of the pond that ever got assembled in the UK. Most other Honda models were assembled either in the U.S., Canada or sometimes even Japan if you're lucky.

My ultimate goal for this car is to have everything from a JDM EP3 Type R installed into this car. Except I want to keep the USDM front and rear bumpers for our "safety" reasons. So that means, count in the Recaro's with full red interior (30th AE style), and the K20A powertrain with LSD. The suspension is already assembled with many parts from a DC5 ITR.
