Haha am I sick, it looks like it's there to shovel up snow. I much prefer the mugen one but it's quite expensive for something so little
 
Average Jap-street look to me is:

Lightweight rims, usually white or bronze - Work, RAYS, Weds, Enkei etc
lowered on coilovers
strut braces
mildly tweaked brakes

Standard-ish interior except for:
one racing seat
Nardi 3-spoke deep dish steering wheel
a few gauges
2 DIN headunit, usually playing some dodgy hi-nrg J-Pop

rear tinted glass
vented bonnet - or the OE one, tilted up at the rear
a front splitter or mild bodykit
some stickers, maybe some for the Fujiwara Tofu Shop ;)
those regulation window stickers: 1 above the rear view mirror and the other at the back left on glass
the JDM sized plates

air cleaner
cat-back system
BOV (for turbo cars)

and depending on the car, the usual plethora of electronic gadgets like turbo timers, valve controllers, VAFC, SAFC, FC Commander blah blah

and depending on how authentic you wanna be: a cup-holder in the air vent, some ciggy butts in the astray and that red flare in the passenger footwell !

I will eventually be after some lighter wheels, when my funds allow. I know they aren't jap but I quite like the Team Dynamics 1.2, which will be next to Teins or Eibachs and some Ferrodo pads.
I was after a double DIN but my gf bought my stereo for me so I can't replace that so soon after her buying it :lol: unless I want a sex ban that is.
Is CF bonnets jap?
What stickers are they? The "things in your mirror maybe appear bigger than they are"?

Carbon fibre (CF) bonnets aren't necessarily "jap". They also use FRP - fibre reinforced plastic. Either way, if its vented, its a bonus (in my opinion)

By the way, for JDM-look lightweight rims, you can't go wrong with Rota wheels.....

Cheers for that matey, I will check that out now. I don't think I'm brave enough to get the Pedo Bear Stickers before you suggest them, I'm having trouble just explaining it to this guy at work let alone everyone who sees my car :lol:
 
That's got nowt to do with me mate.

Not a fan of the tow hook 'look' I'm afraid. I've got one in my tool-kit int the boot. LOL.
