What wheels do I have?

Afternoon all, bought my civic a few weeks ago. Now I quite like the wheels that are on it but a lot of people are saying they are sport wheels.

I can't decide if I should keep them or get the type r wheels.

Aren't they accord wheels? Don't think they're sport.

They are called Penta alloys. Came on some Accords and Civics as optional extras between 2001-2006.

Pretty sure you could still spec them on the 8th gen Civic (2006-2011).

Correct, they aren't Sport wheels, though you could spec the Sport with them. Sports were 16", Pentas are 17".

Do not exchange for Type-R wheels.

The reason I say this: If it bothers you enough to change them to Type-R wheels then no doubt you'll reach the stage where you will want to change to aftermarket wheels also.

Save yourself the hassle of going to Type-R wheels and go direct to aftermarkets instead.
