Does anyone else get a bit pished, that people sign up, and their 1 and only post is about 7 threads for stuff to sell. :roll: :roll: :roll:

I mean It's not F**king E-bay........... I just think there is alot of potential for t0ssers scamming people.

Is there anyway to put a limit on the no. of posts you have to have made before you can effectively "sell" items to this community?

Any thoughts on it?

mmmm gets on my man norks that, I look at posts like feedback in classifieds...I dont wanna give my hard earned to someone with 7 posts, though that Sharky is a bit shady :lol: and we wont even mention Mikey 'boycey' G :wink:

As I said know your all buys and do this in your "free" time as it were.

believe it or not I actually implemented some code to do this a few days after your original post...I've just not bothered my arse activating it yet cos I forgot :lol:

I have been following a thread that has started from CTRO that has linked through to the Escort Owners, Calibra Owners and Opel Owners sites... it seems that a fella has been posting up stuff to sell, accepting cash and then disappearing. PayPal claims are taking ages and the 'buyers' on the Escort forum have lost just over a £1000 in total between them for goods that have not shown...

I say 100 quality posts and 30 days membership of the site minimum. Yes, it may sound harsh but the bottom line is that this forum is free for our use and it is unfortunate that some people will take unscrupulous advantage of that fact. I do believe that the MLR (Lancer Evo) Register requires you to be a paid member before even being allowed to join the group buys.

I feel that one hundred quality posts i.e, no triple smilies to acknowledge jokes, is not too much to ask for. If in doubt of the seller then search all their previous posts for genuineness.
