DC5 restoration - track project

Cheers Darren. It's honestly one of the most fun cars I've driven. The noise as well is incredible, I was slowing down then accelerating today and lol'ing behind the wheel.

Love it! Great choice of mods and it's looking superb.

Going to make a point of making a trip to TGM for some work as what they've done for you and Dotty is top notch.

Very jealous. This is exactly what I wanted my DC5 to turn in to.

Funny how you describe the diff. I'm now thinking my DC5 had an aftermarket diff because my steering was exactly how you described above. Steering never straightened up itself.

I was running 225 without scrubbing. But I had very firm coilovers.

This is a quick car!! Would leave mine for dead now.
The whining from the diff is quite cool but I'm sure it would gate after a while. On the plus side, if you go a bit faster than you'd like, then slow down a touch. It makes it pretty bearable.

I bet it feels like a proper race car now.

I have no doubt it will be lightning quick once its on a track.

Cheers, guys, just needs the bloody Pole Position in it then I'll be a lot happier!

Just home. Car has some minor issues but nothing of great concern. Didn't crash, had fun. Here's a quick vid before I sort the rest out over the next week or so. Speedo isn't working because I had to disable the VSS in KManager (one of the minor issues).
