it was pink and dull when i first got it so first thing on the list was a good buff..came up well

when i bought it we thought it was a rocker cover gasket but ended up to be a rocker stud was snaped, not a big job

so next was a clutch, it wasnt sliping but wouldnt grap the nxt gear in high revs. poxy job to do..took the whole day

nxt on the list was lower it so for now just went with tein springs

never liked silver wheels so they got painted black.huge difference

then we had a problem. on the way to nurburgring as we were pasing tru france i got a good smack up the arse on a roundabout by a 206 estate, ahaha

so when i got home from that trip i made up my mind to just do a quick repair job on it and strip her out and have some fun with it..he did alot of damage behinde bumper and 2 panels got kinked so it was never goin to be mint unless we did a 3g repair job

so inside was fully striped and all sound deadning removed, next was my exhaust system..get that standard pee shooter off it

so all glass was then removed to get ready for the roll cage.

so after cage was done all the glass goes back in, i also got new wheels for it..nxt step now is the cage an interior to get painted..cage is going a very bright yellow and the rest the oem red

spoiler has to be fitted now while waiting to go to paint shop..then the list goes on and on , stay tuned

Nice read so far I'm thinking of doing this to mine as its not worth much to sell it now and love track days in the ep3. Looks like you got a good set up in a big garage, how come you had to remove the glass? Keep the thread updated good work so far mate :twisted:

You need the glass out so you can get at the cage to weld it..its fully braced to the pillars so you need them out to weld them..ye the garage is my friends set up..hes called jdm service centre..find him on face book.

few more bits to add...today i remounted the spoiler on top of the oem spoiler , i think looks better and i cut out the rear bumper to reduce drag..also a engine dampner got put in..

ye ill get a very fine mesh and paint it and the bumper bar black so you wont see it..haha im only starting the madness

Ye im goin to put evo brembos on it..just looking into getting brackets and spacers made off a lad thats done it..as for engine just bolt on mods and a remap, nothing major..

Just for your information, the "standard peeshooter" exhaust you removed looks like a Mugen Twinloop, not OEM at all. In fact a very saught after Japanese exhaust. No idea on the header (exhaust manifold) though.

Or was that picture of the kit you were fitting instead of removing? Just that one of your pictures show a Piper oval type exhaust.

Also, you'll need to watch the text speak.

Oh, and the Evo wheels looked much better than the black multi-spoke ones in the later picture.

Haha thats the system I put on..its a custuom 3 inch with a japspeed mani. The oval exhaust was just a back box..the evo wheels are ok but the weight of them was crazy..the heavyst wheel ive come accros.. I using a set ot rota boost wheels now..

sorted out the rear today..put mesh in the bumper and a toe hook got added..

also i started to make my front cannards today heres my first stage..
