Front Knocking & Light Steering

When driving along the steering feels very light and pulls all over the place and when I go over a speed bump it's knocks like something is loose
Help please it's driving me mad

Could be anything, but I reckon very worn bushes. Best get it on some ramps and have a look around. What mileage are we talking? Ive done most of my front end after 140k....

It's done about 85k I've replaced the anti roll bar links as they had gone and I've had all the wheels balanced as I had a couple of weights missing on the front.

Similar problem on mine turned out to be the front shocks. Once change the car felt grounded and stopped making clunking noises.

Yeah it's pulls both ways and it's very light on the steering

The bushes in the pics look gone to if its on the wishbones, change them with the balljoints at the same time

yes, will have movement in them only needs to be 1mm and it will knock ...

And the rollbar bushes look ok but i would do them at the same time with some up rated ones..

I've got two spare wishbones at work without bushes I'm going to clean them up and fit powerflex bushes and I'm also thinking about the buddyclub ball joints but seem a bit much for what they are?

Yeah they are rather gone, it's in the garage tomorrow to be looked at so will know for sure what the problem is

You may as well do ball joints, control arm bushes and ARB bushes all at the same time. Pointless just doing one thing. Once its done, its done and it isn't a massive job.
