Okay cheers for the heads up.
VTEC, not VTECH.
Forget chasing power, improve handling and braking next, then continue to learn the car inside out with each handling improvement etc.
What tyre's have you got?
Money could be much better spent here also
The Civic's got a lot more power than you can usefully use, enough to get you into a lot of trouble faster than you can blink if you're not careful. You're young (Daikiyamane), so maybe you haven't managed to make enough mistakes to realise how badly things can go wrong, but there's a lot to be said about making sure those limits (of grip, time top stop, etc.) are extended as far as possible before chasing power.
*ish
Plus with these cars there's probably a grand you can spend to make sure the alignment is right, all calipers are sliding freely, drop links renewed, bushes replaced, new engine mounts, new clutch etc etc.
But come on lads, we were all young once. I can totally see why the OP wants more noise/power. It's what I did with my first CTR. Till I wrote it off. But then I got a second one and modded it again before finally getting a DC5. Which I wrote off.

Mike I hear what you're saying and perhaps I should look into some handling modifications first but I haven't even started my research in that field yet will have a look in that section of the forum. I wouldn't say 25 is TOO young I am sensible enough to know when I can push my car, I am totally in love with it though so I'm hoping there's no threat of me writing it off.....I think for now I'll do intake and obviously my tires and then have a think from there.
