second hand? thats an amazing price, im looking at doing a dc5 brembo conversion but if thats the going rate on spoons ill be getting those instead. What did you need to fit them? spacers etc
 
I was very lucky to get them at that price. They just replace the Stock calipers, straight swap. I've fitted them with Brembo Disc's and Ferrodo 2500's.

Ive got the D2 330mm Big brake kit for sale.

Genuinely though, everything is spot on, the welds, the positioning of everything, its awesome work. Im buying Mickey C's Bonnet tomorrow for when I get it back.
 
Another quick picture from today. Lou is sorting out the Fuel lines, the Fuel Pump is on, the Intercooler is almost ready for the final mounting, just the Oil Lines, Battery relocated, and blow off valve to get done. Hopefully it will be on the Dyno on Friday.

Looking for Driveshafts now, as there is a possibility that I will snap the OEM ones when I get slicks on. Exciting times.

We been held up with a few parts..... like suppliers closing down and having to source special parts from America and the like but nearly there.

To put it into context, its the biggest sized turbo install we have done on an EP3 other than Adams Drag car.
The sizing on the pipework is huge and the outlet from the wastegate is bigger diameter than most peoples NA downpipes and trying to squeze that back into the exhaust past the 3" downpipe....and retain the heaters as Toms a big girl has been quite fiddly to say the least!

I'm going to eventually run dual boost control like we have done on Reelmotion Dave's DC5 so we have selectable Hi and Low boost control for road use but obviously when we are at track we will be running a totally different calibration and dialling in to the track conditions the same as we do with the other drag cars. (The base cal will probably end up being the Hi boost road map anyway!

As the motors still stock I will run no more than 13PSI to start with for safety until the valvesprings are changed then we can ramp it up.
We are running 500bhp on Ben's K20 in his EG and that is totally stock and still going strong after a couple of years now.

This car is 800BHP capable. Everythings been sized to achieve that target and will be fully road legal and driven on the road and not a stripped dedicated drag racer.
Just think Afy...then 200bhp more AND heaters........but this one also has decent brakes!
