My Evo 8! now forsale pg23

I know i havent even done a thread on my CTR yet  , but thought id put up a few pics of what ive just bought in replacement of the CTR... (pics, details and spec of the CTR will be edited onto this thread  )
went on a bit of a mission to get the car... me and the mrs flew from Gatwick to Edinburgh, then drove home :-D all the way back to London! wouldnt have been so bad if it wasnt for the terrential rain and a few solid spots on the motorways!

anyways, heres the car/spec,

Mitsubishi Evo 8 FQ300 UK spec, Medium Purple, 24k Miles, full Mitsi History then after the warrenty ran out a mitsi specialist took over.

Mods:
ECU - Reflashed Standard ECU, had a 'conservative map' done, so its pushing 360hp at the mo! (i also have a Gems fully programable ecu for it which needs to be mapped)

Engine
ARP Conrod Bolts, HKS Hard Pipe Kit, Magnex 3inch Turbo elbow downpipe and decat, HKS 3inch super Dragger Exhaust, Walbro fuel pump, APS CAI (with intercooler spray relocation tank), Forge recirc dump valve, THS tubular exhaust manifold, uprated intercooler, oil breather system/catch tank.

Brakes -front - AP Racing 6 pots, 362mm Discs, DS2500 pads
rear - standard 2 pot Brembo's, DS2500 pads
Braded lines and DOT 5.1

Suspension - Tein Monoflex Coilovers

Transmission - Exedy Stage 1 organic clutch... quite a heavy clutch, nearly stalled it the 1st few times!

Wheels - Compomotive THXs, 18s, rays locking nuts.

Carbon Fibre front splitter,
Carbon Fibre rear spoiler blade

ive probably forgotten a few things, so if i remember anything i will add it!

i have all the reciepts for ALL mods, and services, and pretty much everything that was done on the car which totals up to quite a fair amount! the car is absolutely mint and been looked after very well!
absolutely loving the car, the drive is completely different to the CTR, so was getting used to that the 1st few days, it drives perfect though (touch wood), the handling is unreal, the brakes could stop a Jet! the powers a bit nuts too!cant believe the acceleration!

anyways, heres a few pics... im not too good with a camera but these will do for now...

absolutely lovin it though! completely different to the CTR! gonna miss the screaming vtec though... absolutely loved the CTR

Very nice Rich.

approved, I always have a look on the MLR now and again as I do get tempted to cross over..

Does the previous owner have an R35 now?

cheers mate! next time theres a south mims meet ill come down and take you out in it!

R35 indeed mate! and it is fcukin massive!!! looks even better in the flesh. he was gonna pick me and the missus up from the airport in it but he doesnt drive the car in the wet. was the same with the Evo, only taxed for 6 months, summer, then sorn over winter!!!

yeah he does, i was trying to get his gauges off him!! think im gonna get the tripple Defi pillar gauge setup now! Harvs is up for sale now though! looks a minter too!!!

its forsale, but i dont think he wants to sell it. basically i think if he gets the asking price hell let it go, if not, i think hell keep it. its gonna be sad letting the CTR go!

If someone offers me the asking price then they can have it, if not then no big deal 8)

See you at a petrol station soon 8)

What would you replace it with?

An evo 9 GT :p

Looking at your mods matey you should be up to about 400, get it on the rollers and if it's about 360 then get a new map

Mine only has stage 1 stuff, fuel pump, exhaust, filter, boost controller and map and im hoping it is about 380-400..? if im lucky  mental quick though.

I see you have a gems ecu? Sell it and keep the standard one, you can do pretty much everything with just flashing that
