I drove an R32 yesterday, for no other reason than I was bored at home and she was at work.
I spotted an R32 at my local VW dealer, one that has been there a while as a matter of fact -DSG model 58 plate and 26k on the clock. On the forcourt for £17995.
I had no intention of buying it, but I wanted to experience the DSG.
Initial thoughts were that the car was filled with plenty of gadgetry, lots of toys to meddle it sounded nice on idle but when I took it out I was left underwhelmed with the experience.
I can see the appeal for someone with kids, but if you are single/couple and looking for a car that gives you some excitement, then the R32 Mk5 is not for you.
