Repugnant Rice Krispy is home.

That's why I changed to a civic, wanted a newer car but didn't like the style of all the gen 2 minis! You def got the best one

Went & gave the car a food clean & wax today after having a PROPER drive in it yesterday afternoon.

I've got to adjust my driving slightly to get the best from the car, but was getting the by the end of the day. My previous cars werent massive in torque so I was a little heavy footed with the GP yesterday & causing some under steer, that coupled to the fact the roads were greasy & I'm not a fan of the run flats. But have to say the punch the thing has is great!

I've ordered some Rennline RS style pull handles so looking forward to fitting them when they arrive. A few subtle touches to put my stamp on things I think I'll look into.
 
Very cool Lee. Gotta say, I remember the interior from my R56S being a very nice place to be, yours looks to be the same.

The R56 interior is a step backwards. Alot more main stream.

Thanks. It's fine, I keep hearing people moaning about it. My DC5 was harsher on OEM dampers & Eibach springs.
 
I quite like the R56 inside. The seats weren't that great but the feel of the parts was nice. Well built too. No creaks or rattles etc. Mine was an ex demo model so had a few extra toys compared to the normal models. But overall I felt it a nice place to sit on longer journeys.
 
Dont get me wrong they're a very nice place to be, but alot plainer than the R50-53. They lost the downtubes & stuff.
 
This shape mini has grown on me but not a fan of the spoiler.It reminds me of the sort people used to put on renault 5 gt turbos back in the day but thats just my opinion.
 
Getting to like this little car more & more with some miles.
Learning how to get the best from it which in itself is refreshing. Still massively surprised by the punch it has. Defo as quick as my old BMW.

Waiting on some prices for a couple of bits from the states ATM which can be added without affecting my warranty.

Honestly mate I was surprised by the grunt tbh. It certainly feels as quick from my trouser dyno anyways. Had a pas say it feels as quick today too.
 
Waiting for a dry day over the break to wash & wax or polish & to fit my door pulls too.
Waiting for payday to order a couple of bits too. I want to add a few things before Spa in April mate.
