RevMonkey's Fn2 :) Updated, Carbon wrap

Whats the quality like on it? I haven't been able to make my mind up on getting one.

It's really solid feeling, nicely finished as well, sits a bit further out of the wing than the old one but it is much thicker. If your swithering i'd say buy it lol, its 1000 times better quality than the plastic ashtray fitted as standard.

Any pics of the skunk2's gun metal shean?

looks grey with the flash on

no flash you see the blueish tint to it

It gives a very nice solid feel to the gear shift, I also used the Loxy method of no locknut and got myself a about an inch off the throw for free. Tried it set at various heights but no locknut is best for me.

Nice, just ordered some Heko's off the site you mentioned so thanks for that, were they ok to fit?

Nice one man , They're an absolute doddle mate. Wind window down, peel tapes from deflectors push them up into window seal. 2 U shape clips go in in each side. I used an old ice scraper to push them in! And that's that. 10 minutes.

Cool cheers, did they take long to come sais 3-5 days but was hoping to have them for the weekend.

Mine came next day, and I didn't pay for quick shipping. With a bit of luck you'll have them by weekend. I ordered them on the Monday came with postie on Tuesday morning :)

Have a long list of wants longterm, frsu, flashpro ,induction, exhaust, cams, LSD . Short term maybe debadge the rear and change wheels for something unexpected .

were did you get the heko's from? also who done the carbon wrap for you?

i used to have an 05 plate fiesta ST, moved onto bigger and better but trying to modify this or add some bits and bobs is difficult, unsure what to do, were to get them from etc....any help would be greatfully appreciated.

No worries man ;) the hekos I've sent a link in another post, the carbon dash panels are from the Honda type r catalogue. I got mine from http://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/ but any Honda main dealer can get them for you, cox is the cheapest though here's Some links for tuning parts

That's my next job to replace the lights, although now its getting lighter it might be worth waiting

Suspension for me next is important mod and a service, then will see haha

Get some pics up, did you get the bulbs from Civinfo?

Yeah got them from mr-jp on civinfo, came in 2 days and perfect fit v cheap too. I can't do any major mods at the moment still got loads of warranty left. I'd really like to wrap the bonnet (the bonnet especially because the amount of stonechips on an 18 months old car is just fecking rididuclous),roof, splitters and wing and powdercoat my wheels, which doesnt affect the warranty :)

I'm slowly gonna get the parts together over the next few months, already got a set of ebc red stuff pads for the back, after that ds2500s for the front and goodridge or stoptech hoses all round as the brakes are not what I was expecting, eibach 15mm drop and frsu will be first on the list after that I think, then flashpro, induction kit and catback of some description.

Pics will follow shortly,

I've fallen in love with a seeker wing, so fecking cool, have to save like a hound for that as well!!

did the bulbs come with a how to guide for fitting or is the guide not necessary?

No guide but they are just a straight swap for the oem bulbs. Very straightforward, leds only work in one current direction si if the bulb doesn't light up take it out and turn it 180 degrees and it'll work, simples :)

Guide to changing bulbs in your manual ;)

and also the ultra power h7 bulbs http://www.civinfo.com/forum/member...n+buy++mr+jp!-picture4428-ultra-power-h7.html

just looking at sidelight bulbs, and also number plate bulbs at the moment. any other bulbs that could be changed?

yeah ave had a look at the manual but was just unsure if there was a need for wiring LoL

pm'd you his prices dom, After my alfa 147 changing the bulbs in the civ are a joy, to get at the rear bulbs on the alfa you have to remove the nuts from inside rear 1/4s with an extended socket, take the tailights out from the outside, disconnect then split cluster, everything is mega flimsy on Alfa's and brittle or so cheap its not even funny lol

Some photos of the new bulbs,
