What is wrong with the ABP's ?

They are really firm and crashy, it doesnt even need a pot hole to make a big bang even a small dip in the road does it. I removed the springs on saturday and the fitment seems awful, they seem to stick out more than the cup of the shock, so you can see where the spring has compressed and hit the cup of the strut where the spring seats.

Ive put the standard ones back on for the time being, and i checked the struts are all ok. Some new 30mm springs should sort it, i would buy coilovers as i dont mind spending the money but IMO from experiance they're all to firm for road use.

Shame as i like the firm-ness of coilovers for track use

I think these are the earlier 35mm ones, the 30mm new ones are said to be far better

Gave the car a clean today and fitted the new sus springs, they are muchos better and lower by 30mm not 35mm.I also have it booked into the body shop to repair a small scuff on the rear bumper.

My spiggots have also arrived now so just need the tyres fitting to the enkeis now :yum:

Much prefer the Enkei's to the Team Dynamics.. Ride height looks awesome too..

A few pics after a good clean before the JNW meet, dropped the car off at the bodyshop this morning to get the rear bumper sorted (small scuff, flat and buff) so it is near perfect condition

Just got the car back from the body shop (had a small scuff i did on the rear bumper repaired) Top job as always from the only bodyshop i ever use :-D

Damage...
