Suits' Nissan 370Z

Rear wing is what these are missing as standard IMO. Have you actually ordered it?

Stillen intake would get my vote, universal stuff tends to be s***e

No, not yet.

I'm trying to work out what intake I want first, as well as cooler and brake lines.

Once I have a complete list I'll source all the parts together, from one supplier, so that I get the obvious benefits of doing that.

As above regards the universal stuff :) .

Stillen for me too.

Pretty sure you'll have seen these:

A bit long winded but decent sound clip at the end:

Different chap but under load:

Sounds pretty damn fine.

GruppeM was a great bit of kit for the EP3, but I do think if you got them for the Z you'll end up swapping them when you come to wanting more power.

Nice update Nick. Serious cash for an intake, I think on the Evo a HKS induction system is around £150 ish. Saying that a lot more needs to go into an NA intake versus turbo intake.

I'd go GM just because, ive been steadily building a protective layer on mine using jizz.
Very smooth now and has a delightful smell to it.

Also NISMO wing FTMFW. Can't wait get mine :D

Very well spotted Sunny Boy !!

Right, the ones without the central piece are actually copies, the proper NISMO ones have a central piece.

Seibon and various others make them without, in two different sizes would you believe.

Like I said, I want NISMO.

I would take a Seibon, but they only do them in carbon.

You know me man.. It's all in the details.

For what it's worth, I much prefer the pic you posted above, without the central prop - it gives the wing the impression of being bigger than the authentic item/one with the central prop.

You would know, but is it actually a rep? because this looks to be an official Nissan vehicle below and it has, what looks to be, a higher Nismo wing without the central prop; basically similar to what you posted above.

This: Supposedly Nismo 2014 370z - on, as I say, what looks to be an official Nissan stand.

If it is rep - I like it regardless. It looks better :D Also - I don't think only carbon is such a bad thing, but on your motor - color-coded most certainly FTW. OEM+ plus if you know what I mean.

Hmmm, yeah, not sure man, I think the one above with the Stoptech's and Decal's is a tuned one maybe for Nissan.

From what I have read from the states, theres two company's that do NISMO reps, Seibon and another being called T1 or something. Anyway, the T1 is a little taller and without a prop. Siebon make a more exact replica but out of carbon and without a prop.

Also, lol, there is a OEM Nismo spoiler and race team Nismo spoiler. Now the OEM Nismo is the one you spec at the dealer, so a tad smaller and the race team one is obviously the true form of it and generally not available.

This is the 370Z Nismo car available from Nissan, so OEM 'available' Nismo;

Yeah, stuff is expensive, also, like I said, you have to buy two of everything.

Do it once, do it right.

Apologies on the full inbox,re TFL.

Appreciate your time, the box is now empty.

I'm in demand.

Do they even come painted? The Nismo parts catalogue had a load of part numbers for the rear wing but the description is obviously in Japanese.

Most specialist parts like this will come unpainted. Otherwise you are limiting expensive pieces of kit to an even more niche market.

They don't need to hold stock of every colour though. If it's anything like parts i've bought they're made to order and you can specify painted or unpainted.

If this link works it has what appears to be colour codes on the list in the rear spoiler section which to me means you can order it already painted. Coupd be wrong though, maybe worth asking Matt at Injection Imports.

Fantastic update Nick. Very much looking forward to the arrival of it all.

Regarding the intakes, aesthetically, the Gruppe M's are much, much nicer to look at; but as you say. there isn't much information out there about them. Wouldn't have thought there was a Japanese forum available that had info that could be translated?

So the ECU in this has the built in ability to self tune both the fueling and ignition, the car also uses a fly by wire throttle system.

This controls the bhp/torque in the lower gears by not allowing the throttle to be opened 100% in the 3 lower gears, 1st gear 65%, 2nd gear 70%, 3rd gear 80%.

I feel mugged off.

I want it all.

All of the time.

One positive is that the ECU is adjustable, so it's a simple plug in, uplaod map, unplug, av it.

I was at my mates, fathers, goat farm the other day, it was late, must have been about 2AM so I decided to do a top speed run on his little oval circuit, he calls it the 25M.

The ability that this car has to reach stoooooopid speeds at a seemingly effortless rate is staggering. Besides the mid bending speed, it's the un-dramatic way that it goes about its business.

Love it.

I want a double clutch, padel shift box though :( .
