That colour is amazing. You've done a great job with the polishing it seems.

Thanks. The paint has come up good thanks to some quality products , mugen bonnet eta is the end of this month .. feels diffuser any time now and the mugen grille should be here some time this month too.

Need to get on to Tgm to get the ohlins on , also the cusco roll bars and eibach rear arms and front bolts. ££££

One thing I can confirm with Fd2's is that nothing is cheap. Jdm tax on parts for these is savage when compared to DC5's etc.

Hey Dotty, that FD2 is really outstanding! I always dreamt about having FD2, but it could be really annoying having RHD in Poland ;)

AFAIK it's your second FD2 and I'm wondering, why not FK2? What makes FD2 superior to FK2?

Nothing to do with superiority. I like the FK2, but prefer the FD2, possibly the last of the pure Type R 's perhaps ..? Time will tell. Yes I had a white one and had no intention of really giving it up but when the deep violet pearl became available I thought I'd take the plunge as it had around 10,000 miles less than mine ,was two years newer and of course the colour was something which attracted me , as far as I'm aware there is only one other one in the U.K. In this colour.

Also I managed to remove most of my trick bits from the white one and the list keeps growing...

I'm glad I didn't buy a new FK2 as the prices are plummeting at a rapid rate.

Opened the box today and was pleasantly surprised. The quality of these things is outstanding.

Spoon rigid collar kit (front)

RIGID COLLAR are simple in their shape but clever in their design.

Rigid Collars are made from a secret blend of space materials which ensures they mount perfectly flat between the chassis and subframe taking up any imperfection in the mounting surfaces.

Rigid Collars cure chassis movement, improve handling, reduce road noise, reduce vibration, improve braking and make the car safer.

This is achieved by the collar material, the tapered design and extremely high manufacturing tolerances.

The Spoon non-asbestos clutch disc is full faced for increased power handling whilst maintaining the smooth clutch action as felt with the standard clutch.

Combined with the Spoon Clutch Cover and other parts power increase of 30% can be handled without comprising clutch feel or smoothness.

Can also be interchanged with to work with a standard clutch cover.

Spoon updated clutch cover

I like the little spoon logo on it :)

The Spoon clutch cover, or pressure plate increases clamping force by 30% with pedal feel almost unchanged and operation as smooth as OEM.

By increasing the contact pressure by a factor of 30%, considerable improvements in slipping, abnormal wearing, and shudder can be reduced - even in hard-driving situations.

Blue Wide Angle Rear View Mirror Glass inserts are a great upgrade to your interior without spending a lot of money. Instead of buying complete mirrors, these inserts go into your factory housing.

The Spoon Hydro Blue Wide Mirror adopts a 14000R Curvature to give a wide field of vision without distortion. Glare is also reduced by the clever blue colour.

Everything required for installation included in the box

Very happy with the coilovers and of course the work by Tgm , excellent as usual.

I've set the rebound ten clicks back from hardest setting but will experiment once I've got the boxes out of the car , likely to be the weekend.. initial thoughts are that they are very very good indeed, however the heavens opened and my journey back from Tgm is roughly ten miles of motorway and 3-4 miles of town roads and it was end of day commute time for most of the "special drivers"

More work to come soon ..

Some other random pics.
