K20 FTW.. Essentially, more JDM than a Tsunami

Nice on Karl.

A diff makes such a big difference. Great around roundabouts oh and the track. lol.

Once you put your mani on and exhaust, she should lean out nicely, but still might bit a tad rich.

Jay

Did Romain mention anything like an O2 sensor that might be faulty etc? Yours really shouldnt be that rich..... !

Yeah it's worth checking, as no OEM Honda map gets that rich. It usually indicates something is wrong with the car, like a blockage somewhere or a dodgy oxygen sensor ?

Air mate. Could be blocked intake (which is very unlikely now!), could be shafted cat, dodgy oxygen sensor etc.

Well spoke to Romain and he said that because my car is making good power and drives well it could be the cat on the way out, but at very early days and with a whole new system on it's way I shouldn't worry about it and just wait :)

^^^ Ah yes, must not forget that. I may just let Romain work on it for however long he needs just to get all the fancy bits working along with an awesome map :p

Not sure, never asked, Jay just happened to mention that it could be a possibility so I'll talk to Romain about all available options come map time :)

I don't think it is. Full throttle shift usually works with cars where you need to press the clutch to start the engine. This is on some DC5's and EP3's from Japan. You then tie that button under the clutch into the full throttle change.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 90% sure you cant have it :(

Can't get full throttle shift on EP3's can you ?

Romain will have to put in a clutch switch.

Has nothing to do with Cars which start with the clutch down.

I can have it on my ATR and AEM, again would just need a clutch switch fitted, IIRC even JDM cars need a clutch switch fitted. I know my mates DC5 did.

That's not what Romain told me.. :) but fair enough. Seems a lot of faffing for a gimmick though. Just like the launch control is a gimmick really.

Once the clutch switch is in, then setup on the ECU. Launch control is a waste of time on the KPRO i found. I ran it on 2 of my 3 DC5's and i could never get the settings right, i spend night adjusting it, pointless, you can do a better job yourself on a lauch. I out launched my mates DC5 with Launch control in my VX220 in the wet, which bald bridges on the back :D

FTS is good for N/A cars, and the noise is awesome when you can shift that fast. No point in me having it on the ATR, i will take my time with the shift lol.
K20 can take it as the gearbox has multiple syncro's, id dread to hear the crunches on a DC2 on FTS's.
