this is a epic build loving it hope you put a few vids of this beast up when you got her running and power runs and so on will be watching this thread carefully loving your work mate

Why did you go for such a large turbo? If your shooting for the 500whp wouldnt something like a gt35R suit better regarding spool time and power band or did you just want savage:lol:

Also why you running a cometic gasket? Could you not get the pistons made down to the compression you wanted?

Deffo wanted something savage for sure. We think the Turbo is good for 900hp. Holset Turbos are being used like a craze in the US. They are used on trucks and shaft on them is very very strong, they made for abuse and high torque as there used on diesel trucks and boats. Service intervals are long too.

We have tried making this as reliable as possible, and to last.

Cometic is in, even if i snap the cambelt on the track there will be no damage to the engine.

Yes my daily drive. However boost will be turned down to 1bar around 300whp. However off boost under 5000rpm RPM it will be like 150hp, really flat. But good on the fuel hopefully.

lol yeah deffo. I wont run 500whp on these Prada's it will spin up, see how it copes with 300whp. However on the drag strip deffo going to use drag tyres so 500whp should be used.

Its all testing and seeing how we get on.

Im looking at an upgraded Clutch Master Cylinder, ive just replaced this one with OE fit as the other one died, i dont know if thats from overall wear, or because this one is just so damn heavy.

Also if we do go serious and run 700hp, will need a swirl pot, forged drive shafts, carbon syncro's and gears.

I just want to get her running...........got a Skyline GTR R35 in need of some punishment :p

So you thought that'll be perfect for my ATR! You’re a nutter, I love it!! hahaha.

I recommend wearing a helmet and a parachute when running 500bhp as I imagine it'll take off.

My goal is 10seconds, if i have to push up to near 1.8bar and 600whp / 650whp. All i need to do it upgrade shafts / gears / syncro's / swirl pot / more mapping.

As i said i know its FWD but drag radials make a huge difference.

Im also surprised that my pal managed a 10.8 at JapShow in a 400WHP B18 Turbo EG. I should be able to get 10 seconds, im dead set on hitting that target.

Anyways today have put in the Turbo Gaskets, New Adapter bolts. Adjusted the pipe work, Set up the oil cooler. I looked at it and kinda felt emotional, dunno why, just felt like all my hard work has paid off. I wasnt supposed to touch this project but a change in tuners circumstances ment i had to do alot, its not about the money that got me, i think the hard work, decidcating my weekends to it, 10hrs on Saturday, sunday, as i live away. A

I have no idea what this thing will even sound like?

I've heard a supercharged s2000 before and it sounded sweet. This is probably going to sound incredible.... :D
