The more critically flawed it is, the less likely they are to tell you the truth unless they absolutely have to...especially given the way they've been behaving so far.

The GT3 saga would have probably been dealt with by an "upgrade" recall if they hadn't started self-immolating in a very public manner.
 
Shaenei posted on another forum, he ordered on 1st August (Blue GT) and has been told that his has been released to logistics now, so should be getting delivery within a week or so.

Things are moving again.

Saw that they swapped the front brakes out for a similar AP Racing setup as the BTCC car.
 
Only heard it second hand but...

A potential part issue had been identified on Type R under extreme testing conditions in another region and further tests needed to be completed.

The testing of the relevant parts has been completed and all parts have comprehensively passed. Therefore all built units currently held at the factory are being released with immediate effect.
