FK2 FK2 general discussion

Hardest part about buying an Evo is getting a good one.
So many dogs out there. That's why I'd get an import and mod to UK spec

In the dry I feel CTR would give an Evo ( with the same power ) a real run for its money
In wet well thats another story :)
Top speed the CTR wins hands down because of its gearing

If I was to go for another Evo it would have to be a 9MR

Im thinking my next car will be a 9MR
The FD is brilliant but it needs to be faster and getting it to 300bhp would cost a fortune.

Flashpro and you'll have 230-240 on a standard engine exhaust. More than adequate for the stokeburgring.

I got 246 with a decat pipe, Kakimoto catback and a Skunk2 intake. You'll easy crack 230 on a standard engine.

I going to order a Milltek exhaust for the CTR when I get back from my new job
As the standard one is a little to quiet for my liking and an extra 10bhp is always good

I won't be selling the FD and I do have mods planned.
Sam starts a proper job in the new year so cash will be more available than the last 10 months.

New Civic Type R

Saw a nice 9MR360hkswtfbbq at goodwood last week.

If I got another Evo it would be an X.

I may be wrong but I thought the IX MR is a UK car only.

All Evo's are imports but the FQ's were UK specific.
If I bought a 9MR, it would be 300 BHP. I'd have to add the exhaust and map to get it to a UK 360. Plus the other bits as well

Looks like you're right, although I'd imagine it'd have more power.

Just do the fog light properly, nothing worse than a hideous rear fog to ruin the bumper.

To get the same car I had before I'd be looking at over £16k it seems. Sold mine for about £12-13k if I remember right. That's insane.

Andy would be importing my next car so I could ask him to put the fog light wherever.

Now youve got me thinking if they have anything the bumper in Japan?

Saw my first FK2 'on the road' today in Lincoln.
A red one...looked very imposing

Rear wing seems bigger in real life than even the photos!
