Oil questions and recommendations here

I have a question :) I am using Castrol SLX professional 5w-30 for my ctr facelift with almost 90.000km, but still I think I should change it. What do you reccomend? I use the car for daily driving and every 3 months on track-days. Slikolene 5w-40, motul 300v, motul 8100, castrol edge? I will also change my gearbox oil, what about that?

Silkolene Pro S, Motul 300V, Gulf Competition, Millers CFS and Redline 5w-40s would be absolutely ideal.

This bit applies to Spacemonkey too as a Clio and Civic use the same in the gearbox, you both need an MTF

Go for the Redline MTL, Amsoil MTF, Fuchs Sintofluid or Millers.

I think I`ll go for Slikolene or Motul 300V. Some say that 300V isn`t good for daily drive, you have to warm up the car good first. Is that true?

So the Honda MTF III wouldn`t bee enough good?

As long as the Silkolene and motul are the same grade, there should be no difference in the time it takes to warm up

Honda MTF will be okay, the Redline Amsoil and Fuchs are better quality though.
 
For a CTR EP3, what is the best mileage for changing the oil? Im aslo thinking the service from Honda dealer, what kind of the oil are they using?
 
this is more then likely going to be a "dumb" question, but i checked my oil today using the dip stick and it showed the oil line just below the two holes...

...is this to low?
 
got a civic ep3,when honda serviced my car they used castrol edge ow-30,is this good or bad?
can anyone tell me what is the best oil to use for my next sevice at tgm .

Im on my girlfriends account as i wana no wat oil to put in her ep3. I want to put motul oil in it but wat 1??? If I chose the oil off the opieoils website would i choose the motul 5w40 for race cars oil? many theanx Dan
