My EP3, TDi Turbo Kit. 420bhp + 300ftlb @ 12Psi. 12.6s @119mph, Street Tyres

So much for leaving it until the new engine is ready

This is the last thing I can do without the built motor, Im having Valve Springs put in, so Paul can up the torque a bit. Hopefully hit a nice round 500bhp. I was expecting this to be done when I picked up the car after the Turbo was installed, but Paul insisted that I take it as it is and get used to the Power and the delivery as its different to the Supercharger.

Sometimes when a customer says..."I want" you have to say "Are you sure? Are you really sure"

From my perspective it's always easier not to mention cheaper to rebuild a motor that's got all its "inny" bits still inside

A couple of new pics.

I swear the number plate was straight when I put it on. Mind you it was spread over 2 bins as I was drilling the holes.

Have a word with Adam or possibly Seano.
I recon the buddyclub bumper would go on pretty well and you can mesh all the front. I think Adam either has one spare or has the moulds....... or maybe I just dreamt it.:lol:

When it comes to the Motor Paul, I trust your judgement 100%. You have probably forgotten more than I know about the inny bits of a K20.

Tom, if you were to consider a BuddyClub front bumper and TDI don't have one, I believe Eurospec have one that they have in storage. :smt023

I'm not the biggest fan of these front bumpers, but they're perfectly suited to what you need, by the looks of things. :D

Not 100% sure I like these bumpers. As you say it looks to be very practical for my needs, but on the road it looks a bit 1999 Max Powerish.

I will keep my eye open for a second hand one and maybe give it a try. If I dont like it I can always sell it on.

So I had a few hours to spare today, and I was feeling in a creative mood after watching Blue Peter, so I thought I'd have a go at making something up which would cover the intercooler pipes that are visible through the bumper. So with some sticky back carbon fibre effect stuff that I was going to use ages ago in the dashboard, 2 cheap plastic place mats and enough gaffer tape to wrap up a hostage, I finally came up with something....

How it looked before....

Now this isn't permanent by any means, just something to give me a rough guide as to what it would look like covered.

Opinions please....

Cheers chaps. Think I will look into something a bit more permanent, Fibreglass or filler. Possibly fill in all the space Ive filled so its flush with the bumper.
