i thought you weren't allowed to fit a tow bar to CTR? is that like a massive curtain pole ring on the back?

Ah it's just a towing eye as apposed to a bar. I don't "tug" anything with it, it's merely for aesthetics but would have a purpose if I took it on a track day and ended up in the gravel pit lol

Nice mate, where in NW wales did you go? Caernarfon?

Very well spotted!! Caernarfon was one of the places we went to yeah :) Visited all over the place in that region over 4 days, was a good trip, mainly castle viewing though haha

Nice, have some 20mm Tein's on the way from James @ Touge in the container.

That'd be these then, you won't be disappointed :)

Tein FTW, yours have settled nicely man; mine are getting there too.

I wanted to go lower, but if mine settle like yours have done: I'm content - more settling required for mine I guess

Nice pics, what decal is that above the tailpipe exit, it's hard to make out. Not exhaust related, yet, is it - as your running stock right?

Yeh they have settled really nicely, am really happy with the overall drop now :) Yet I'd expect when yours settle completely that your rear end will sit a bit higher than mine as I've got around 100kg of I.C.E. in the boot :D haha

And thanks dude, I took quite a few (to the noise of "why are you taking MORE pictures of your sodding car?" from the missus) but they were the ones I liked best :) In terms of the decal, it's not exhaust related, I just liked the way it looked sitting directly above the exhaust. Not to mention that it's reflective so looks really cool at night too  But it's the moto for J's Racing: WAZA. Can't remember it's exact translation, but I'm sure google will be your aid if you're intrigued enough ;) hehe

 I don't think mine'll be settling any lower then man - I forgot, you were carrying the equivalent of a large dead body in the back :p LOL. For what it's worth it looks better for it, though. Nice and low.

I might consider going lower if these don't settle at the rear more - but then they've barely cover 200 miles/been on the car less than a month, so I'll see what the situation is like in a few good months/miles.

Yeh I'd give it a while, as I seem to recall that mine took around 4 months to settle properly :) Yet if you're after more drop after they've done so then I can only assume that coilovers would be your next step :?

Oh yeh, have you sorted rubber for those uber yummy round pornographic jobbies yet?

I'm all for the slammed look, but being a semi-daily driver, I can't afford to catch my lip on some of London's finest speed-humps, and pot-holed roads, particularly if I'm looking at sourcing a gen. Mugen Lip as my next mod; after the wheels are mounted.

The Teins'll be fine I reckon, if they settle a little more - I'll be chuffed.

My next mod'll be my road tax

then tyres, work lugs and valve-stems are in the pipeline.

In which case might I suggest to just sticking with the springs? ;) hehe

Ah road tax, what an event that will be!!

So you sourcing the lugs etc from Touge?

My Mugen lip (replica) comes very close without any drop. Will be interesting once i've got the teins on. Should still be able to park it up the kerb down my road.
