Today i was putting the plastics back on after doing the clutch adjustment. When i bang on the plastic on the side of the dash i heard a weird noise. So i bang a few more times and same noise happened again. Aftet that the car wouldnt start. I took off all the plastics and press the black rubber...

The clutch is just a little stiff. Im not enjoying fast gear changes and it seems difficult to be smooth with it. If that makes sense. Its a bit like the pedal on my dc5 was. I would like to try and take the stiffness away as it becomes tiring lol. Im getting old

My dc5 had very similar symptoms, it was the camshaft position sensor, i had the eml light on.

That is bloody awful looking, i was sick carrots

does the dc5 have the same electric power steering as the ep3? or is the steering hydralic? cheers in advance rab

have you cleaned the egr valve and egr plate? this is known to cause the light to come on when it gets clogged up and cleaning it has proved time and again that it solves the light on problem. someone will be along soon im sure with more details im sure :cool:

the syncro can go in pre and post, more so in pre facelifts, but more and more post facelifts are showing signs off the dreaded 5th gear syncro issue, but then again there are pre facelifts that have moon miles on them with no hint of the problem, i think its all down to the cars history,. i.e...

to best honest all colours are fast! but red is just a bit faster:D and better looking, :p :p

i seen a JDM a few ep3 months ago, i thought someone had made a really good job of painting their ep3 white. then i seen i square foglight embedded in the rear bumper, the car looked stunning. i only seen it for 4 - 5 seconds but it looked great:o
