yeah the 1 series is the same NS re: ECU but only for first gear.

my 8 with tein springs was horrendous.

I had a AST coilover kit on my Evo and was very impressed with them, damping is quite soft compared to alot of kits out there, however when on track the car behaved superbly, couldn't fault it. if i were to do it all again i'd have no hesitation on going for ASTs
