I also asked Honda Ireland if they had an idea of emissions and if it would be low enough to allow it to sell in Ireland in decent numbers. Here's our vehicle tax rates based on Co2 emissions which the new TypeR would be assessed on;

Bad news guys, I was in Swindon today and met with senior staff to discuss the new Type R.

We discussed power to weight in some detail and they actually showed me some of the internal components.

I took a sneaky pic of a conrod and put it next to a fuel can to highlight size.

It looks like a heavy engine fellas.

Good spot, this does look like it has something to do with those pics that were leaked a while back of a potential new advert being filmed. Hopefully soon to be released because i'm bordering on giving up waiting due to disappointing updates

They hide the rear door well, such a good looking car. The spoiler and arches definitley make it though.

I like the wheels even at 20" I would stick bigger discs on the back though they look a tad lost at the minute,
It looks like the chap drives the 9th gen by day & at sunset he becomes something else by getting in the R, it would coincide with the previous advert with the wolves (bringing out the beast) looks like a racing glove or something pressing the +R button

Honda posted a video today on Faceache, mainly some flicking between a normal 9th gen and the new CTR and the date 30.10.14.
