Perfect review for a badly thought out car!

Natural progression from an EP3 would be a DC5. I don't see anything to gain from getting an FN2 other than being able to say I have a brand new car. Get a drivers car...get a DC5 :cool:

The last model the EP3, that had the same body but just minor differences between the Jap and the UK version. Why is the UK and Jap version of the new CTR totally different and why couldn't we get the good one like they did ?

The wheels don't suit a Civic, more suited to an Astra.

Agree, the FN2 didn't put a smile on my face like the EP3 did, I was left wanting more from the car that unfortunatley it just didn't deliver. Its a good rep car though, fully laden with toys and cruise control, just not the hot hatch I thought it would have been. Natural progression for me...

Its not good getting a stolen car back as the thieves have probably abused the car, added loads of miles on and generally driven and treated it like ****. ITs better to hope its never found and the insurance cough up for its glass trade value.

A car cover so you don't have to see its rear end so often.

Very nice wheels but I don't think the white colour of the wheels suits the car properly as they are so white they make the body work look cream.

This sounds like me, my car was taken from my house with both sets of keys on the 3rd Jan 2007 and was recovered etc. Mine needs new locks all round too. The only thing is I don't have mine yet after 2.5 months :(

Complete rip off, I had my CTR done from the main dealer and after a year I got a letter from a valeting company telling me it was due for its yearly inspection. For them to inspect it properly they had to valet it correctly at going on for £100...obvously I said get lost.

Obviously wants a REAL Type R not this mess of a car :p

I got one up to £25,000 what a rip.

They should be standard as it is a Type R "ish" ;)

I'm not dissing Newera their cars are excellent, just to me it seemed as though they charged for all modifications the cars had.

My car has been found, the police have had it in a pound since the 5th of this month thats 20 days and never informed me :x and now the feckers want £12 storage per day and £105 handling charge. Now my car is registered as stolen recovered has it dropped much in value? apparently...

The door has a 5 locking system with dead bolts. There was no scratch at all on the door just a loud bang which we assume was something to do with the door. Neighbours was the same, no mark on the door either.

Mugen looks one of the best, personally i'm not in to Euro exhausts on a Jap car.

The DC5 isn't all that great, its just a very good car in its price bracket and can be compared to any new CTR.

I don't see whey reworked the engine and also made the car more aerodynamic when it has the same power and 0 to 60 times, seems a waste of time and money to me. They should have just left the engine alone as you'll notice nothing different. Also great its made in Swindon it will rattle and...

Where does the power of dreams advertising come in to this, this seems more management decission than the engineers pasion for building a great car.

I don't see why they altered the engine if its still got the same BHP and 0 to 60 time.

Where about's on the CTR is the alarm controller board fitted ? because since having this replaced under waranty something is loose / rattleing a lot behind my steering column.

I have just had a service at Drake & Fletcher Maidstone and riped off to the sum of £359. They told me I have a leaky Vtec control solenoid valve, how much is one of these and to be fitted ? also does it need to be done ? Also is there anything related to the alarm behind the steering...
