Not alot has changed with the car other than some new disks and pads and a set of plugs. It's been pretty neglected lately, but it had a quick was yesterday and I decded to take some pictures today. Even though the car is filthy again.

I've cleaned it up and I'm going to keep my eyes on it. I think it is the rocker gasket. It must just be running down there and gathering on the gearbox. Will sort another gasket out soon. Thanks for the reply's.

I keep finding a small pool of oil on the gearbox under the gear selector. Pretty sure it's engine oil, but I cant see anything obvious as to where the oil is coming from. Any idea's what might be causing this or has anyone had this problem before? thanks

Pretty sure its 4 gauge, same for the earth cable.

Well I've been driving this for the past week now and so far so good. Need to get a fast road setup, change the battery once I find out witch one to get and get it mapped.

I've relocated my battery to the boot its a odyssey race battery and its no where near big enough for what I need. I keep getting low voltage when cranking on my kpro so I need something with a much better cranking out put what do you recommend?

I've installed a Innovate oil pressure and temp gauge in my kswap em2. I'm constantly looking at the oil pressure and I dont know what numbers I should be seeing really. The gauge reads in psi, what readings should I expect to see. thanks

Still having a problem with this oil leak, but the idle is fixed. The idle control valve was really gunked up I've also removed the secondary idle assist. Look's like the mot will be next week now but that's not a problem as I wont be insuring it till April. :)

Might be worth trying another ELD and check any earth's. I've got a spare ELD I dont need, you're welcome to it.

Managed to fix the problem, there was wires missing in the c101 and A plug so the ecu wasn't getting the signal. Strange but its all working now no more P1166!

with the base map am I just selecting stock? I was told to find with ever base map suited the mods on the engine so that's what i've done

you can disable the immobliser with kpro though? I've got the original ecu here that came with the engine but that's got the immobiliser on it

UK swap not a genuine lambda but it is Denso lambda sensor. Its not been mapped yet im just using a base map for the time being.

Got the power steering working, changed the control module. I can relax now and tidy the wires up and get it in for an mot!

will the codes need the match the codes that are on my current module?

does anyone know if I can use any control unit to change with mine, along as its not from a facelift ep3 as the speed signal is different on those I believe. Dont want to buy a random one if its not going to work

If anyone has a multimeter could they check the voltage there getting from the red and green wire that goes from the control unit to the rack. Would be really helpful!

ordered some bits last week that have now arrived rear view camera for the double din, black sun strip and i won a lightened fly wheel from an facelift ep3 for £36 delivered! :D

since the engine has been painted i've started painting a few other bits. i took the epas off the ep3 so i've cleaned it and started painting that. still needs another coat but it looks much better!

I thought they only did the 421 mani witch is a decat. Wouldnt bother with a sports cat. Either keep the standard mani and cat on or get a 421 mani

its been one of those days to day. cleaned the car as it hasnt been done in ages. parked up came back about half an hour or so later. and a cat had been all over it, with muddy paws! that ****ed me off more than hitting the post at the shop today and wreaking my boot lid and rear lights...

Im doing a k20 swap in my em2. Was going to get a dc sports manifold. But after reading online about the issues with aftermarket manifolds, like fault codes running rich ect... Should i bother? Ive got an rbc onthe way also.

Would it not be worth saving the money you was going to spend on a dc5 or jdm inlet towards a rbc inlet, you dont have to have the ecu maped for a rbc, as far as im aware. But im sure with a map you will get more out of it

When I stripped the back our I remembered the rear speaker's didnt work, so ive bought some new rear speakers and ill get some dronts soon too. Ive also bought an rbc for the k20 :D
