bump time. Poor weather and family life has meant that I haven't cleaned my car since this post - seems it's been 2 months! Got the Karcher out yesterday and the problem seems to be with the lance hand gun. It now leaks water from the trigger causing the motor to cut out (the original problem)...

Lack of internet lately means I've completely missed this thread. How's the VTEC shift coming on? Takes a while to keep it on cam through the gears but it's a joy when you do.

Pics don't do it justice - it looks way different in real life. I thought the dimensions where pretty spot on, and lengthwise it is about a foot shorter (roughly) than my old ATR.

One of the reasons I sold mine. Family days out turn in to a pain in the ass when parking and leaving the FD2. People are all over it like vultures :evil: Not good when the car starts dictating what you can/can't do. If this doesn't bother you though then it's not an issue.

I bought mine from Litchfields and can honestly say they offer the most comprehensive and complete FD2 package. Iain knows these cars like the back of his hand which was good to know when you were buying one of the first ones in the country! You can't argue with a full 3 year warranty either...

NSXs were only slight more than this new - epic fail. I looked in to getting a JDM Mugen RR before ordering my FD2 from a well known importer and was quoted circa 30k OTR new - only £9k difference then and you still don't get all the options (vented bonnet etc) :eek:

Managed to have a quick look at one tonight as someone at work has one. Boot is shocking for such a big car! Still decent enough though. I reckon the civic with it's magic seats offers more storage though

I've not heard of the company i'm afraid but here are some general observations: None of these cars are new, they are stated as 08 plates so are at least 6 months old. If the cars where bought new they could be registered on 58 plates, also one of the photos shows a car sporting a JDM plate...

Agree to your comment about cars, however the performance cars that have been hit hard are in plentiful supply now and always, whereas there are only a small number of FD2s in the country. Supply and demand, but also agree it depends how desperate ppl are for cash.

As stated on the FD2 site, I only see this as a good thing for FD2 residuals. Can't believe ppl are advertising them used for circa 17k, given they now cost so much new in the UK. This is one of those instances where if we club together we can set the going rate for them on the used market...

Very few places carry these 'off the shelf' as such. You'd need to hook up with one of the traders on here and collect. This shouldn't be an issue from many of the TRO traders providing you order in advance I wouldn't have thought. All depends on where you will be in the UK and for how long.

Appreciate the comments fellas, but there are a number of reasons for what I am asking and why. FN2 servicing is no different from FD2 & the first year service is simply an oil change service. I have a very reliable local garage (who service Porsches, Subarus and the everyday family hatchback)...
