Pics? It sounds like the thread marker that some manufacturers use to prevent you from tampering with certain parts of the engine, but i have never noticed this on my CTR.

I have seen this car in the flesh, a very nice looking CTR. I think the wheels set the Milano red colour off.

I have seen these seats and they are in a very good condition, the CTR they were taken from has suffered a N/S/R impact from a lamp post / pole.

Thanks for the advice, I may use silicon sealant to bond the grill to the bumper, I will keep an eye on how well the Halfords sticky pads work.

This is how I have fitted a replica pre facelift Mugen grill, to a facelift CTR. Pop the bonnet. The first job is to remove Qty 10 of the plastic clips, the easiest way is to put a small bladed flat screwdriver under each side of the clip, then twist the screwdrivers. This will release...

Sorted.... I found a local breakers yard stripping a DC5, so I went down this afternoon to collect the pedals, unfortunately the breakers didn't get round to stripping them off the car. Being somewhat inpatient I offered to take them off myself, the acceleration and the footrest are easy...

If the DC5 washer jets use the same locating hole as the CTR then they should fit, the jet is adjustable up and down.

How to fit a tie bar...... I have not really noticed any differance to the handling of the car with the tie bar on, but it does look nice :D The tie bar is easy to fit all you really need is a ramp. Just undo this bolt Use a rubber covered metal bar to stop the arm from moving out...

Well spotted, I brought them from JS Racing (?) when I was at JAE. It makes a lot of difference when driving at night. It only cost £8 for the two tints and they were easy to fit, once I worked out how to remove the mirrors.

How about an CTR register by R number, listing colour, forum owner, date registered. The old site had one but it was never updated.
