I'd say if you are ultimately going for a fairly high end N/A build, then every little bit helps. I have both the Skunk2 Inlet an the 74mm TB matched to it. However my build is a K24 Frank built at TDI North.

I think the piston speeds are about 18k if I recall. A few K higher than stock. That's why we over specced the rods and pistons. Either way it's pretty high due to the increased stroke of course.I m just happy mine makes great torque low down and good power that's very linear. Sounds great too.

yawn.... :p :). Then you have an excellent car yes, but with all the wings and bells and so on on the outside and everyone knows what you have. Not so stealthy. Whereas you could end up with a well sorted EP with good power that will still drive well and be a bit more stealthy. Erm you don't...

Well erm, never really thought about it if I am honest. Apart for the rims and the bonnet the exterior is stock ish (well paint notwithstanding). I do like the mugen front lip but it is the only one I do like apart from the Airwalker. may give it some thought in the future.

Well I have just updated the first post with a few pics from the recent Fast Car feature and slightly updated spec list. The car is driving well and is nicely loosened up. Just put some new tyres on the front and some new aero wipers. To follow is some new bushings and an LSD would be nice.

The block is a little taller, but it seems to sit fine within the bay, and if the sump is lower it is not noticeable. And my car is pretty low.

Besides, it is pretty bloody quick as it stands and is so drivable its crazy.

AS my tuner said: Vtec should have been at 7000rpm and I don't want it that high for mechanical safety as its all getting a little bit fast in there to move the locators. Its set at 6000 purely as a compromise and you really can't feel a 5ft/lb dip when you already have 190. The stage 3 cams...

well, Skunk2 use a similar spec motor in their Project Beta and get 9 seconds 1/4 n/a.... though that is in a tube frame chassis and proper drag body Teg... so I am guessing I will not be going quite that fast :D:D. Nick is correct though, still a few bits to do.

The new bottom end went on at 80k. The head is my original. And yes. I guess there us not a lot of the original car left. Oh the gearbox and clutch are original.

In most cases yes, but cars with a decat have been known to pass MOT. Mine did on two separate occasions, MOT done through my Honda main dealer... Of course I would not recommend the risk :D

You should be able to get it from TDI North or Touge Imports fella. I got the Hard pipe as well, tough you do not need that, though it does look cool.

I have had my ARC on for over a year now, and still love it. I am gonna take it off and I plan to anodise it to go with the new engine build and plans for the bay.... I would happily run one again over anything else.
