Haha no. We just decided to save dome cash and do a model shoot in the office one night! :). She was nakid 20 minutes later, then 5 minutes after that we were all tucking into pizza!

Well stop press just had a message from Lou that the rods and pistons are here woopwoop. The bottom end can now start getting assembled! Let the tune commence!
 
Well Saturday I had a cool day visiting Team TDI as I said, here are a few teaser shots of some parts, and the block before it starts it's prep work, ready for all the exciting custom parts to go in, and all the valve train to be built up. Thanks to Lou, Paul and Ben for making us welcome, even though I supplied the M&S Mini Bites, the fact I never brought Krispy Kreme's explained that lack of any tea being made......

Very tidy G. Gonna be a strong engine!!

Cheers I am pretty excited, It has just taken a we while to gather all the parts for the TDI boys. Now We can let them loose on it. It will be interesting to see what power she makes and where. The Stage 3 sticks make power high up of course, the K24A2 of course is not meant to be a revvy beast. However the Skunk2 boys have K24/20's that rev at 8.6 to 9 on track all day long. Hence the bottom end being custom built to cope....
 
Cheers, the porn tash i thought was more Morgan Spurlock, but hey ho :D. The engine is away tomorrow to be dipped, cleaned stripped and the crank balanced, then assembled before Lou and Paul get to work on the head and build it up. Then off in a couple of weeks for a few days to swap the motors over and Paul can get to work mapping.

Once the motor is done it is just a case of chassis bushes and so on.
