Not sure if theyve been mentioned but has anyone tried Barum Bravuris 2 XL ? They were recommended to me at National Tyres and nothing but good reviews online, apparently same tread as Continentals too. And at only £310 which includes fitting, should i go for it ?

I have a similar one now at 4k though.. ive already had the driveshaft heatshield off to cure the previous grinding noise now another has popped up... i had the front engine mount replaced a few months back

Mines been off for almost a year without no problems...

How was the bonnet tom ?

Bit of an update.. nothing worth reading though lol... Well the D2 brakes are immense, stopping distance is reduced by a lot, even in wet conditions... just a shame i need some new discs/pads already Knocking from all over the place now front and back (not brake related) probably suspension...

Mine will be fitted tomorrow the same as loxy's, tom had them fitted that way too for more "agressive" braking + more wear on the pads My current discs go the opposite way for more "cooling" i was told when fitted

ive got them on the front now ^ i think theyre just unbranded discs with brembo pads, theyre just the same as oem bar the drilled/grooved look ive only had them on a few months but theyre coming off tuesday to be replaced with my 330mm setup :D

Its still wrapped in matte yes, not sure how much it would cost to bring the carbon back to life but the few bodyshops i asked wouldnt touch it :( maybe a specialist is your best bet but could end up being cheaper buying a new one rather than mine + refurb :lol:

bumping with question FINALLY ordering some new wheel nuts, the red alloy ones that are on now have faded to silver and some of the threads on them are fubar'ed as some are quite stiff to get off What ones can i buy to fit OEM alloys i want red or black ?

bowman i have the same problem, my front passenger caliper is sticking so im wandering if thats the problem, mine squeak when under light breaking too and i dont have shims fitted. getting some new calipers next week and gonna fit the shims, hope it sorts it, im scared to drive in traffic...

I know that feel bro' When i wired my amp in i ripped the skin off all my fingers trying to get some of the panels off. I then just pulled them up just enough to get the cables in under them and did it that way (the hard way)

yeah its a buddy club carbon bonnet but had it wrapped because the carbon had faded and had a few marks on it heres a pic after they did it

I get mine done at Elite Films in Birkenhead, i dont know what to get wrapped next thought i was thinking the roof in matte but i dont know if its overkill as my bonnet and centre of spoiler is matte

I almost bought a yellow one off bren with the spoon logo on it but left it as it would of looked odd in my engine bay, but i will definitly have a red one off him at some point this year, his work looks really good

Mine sits higher but like chops not perfectly straight, and as said above you need the air sensor in the left hole, i had the same issue so i used an oem inlet hose which had the sensor attached...

Bonnets mint its wrapped in matte and I've recently sprayed the mesh and undertray. Pics in my ride thread... You should come up to the next meet on the 15th !

sounds like the manifold heatshield although mine didnt do it stationary only when driving , yours may be looser than what mine was.. just whip it off anyway

rub down > prime > paint Its a simple rattle can job, get some primer and the colour of your choice from halfords. I might do mine again in the summer, fancy a change of colour
