Well got car back yesterday morning He said I was really lucky my piston rings were not knackered as that is what they thought at first They replaced the coils, spark plugs, oil filter, etc etc and it solved the issue thank god Still cost me £370 though :( But better than the...

Warranty ran out a month before I had the nox sensor issue in May. Sods law and all that. :( Not heard from garage yet not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

Yep will know more tomorrow when they have replaced all the parts so will update then.....

He told me that he bought 5L and put in 2L but there was 3L gone out of the bottle??? Is 1L enough to f*** the coils up?

I must just add that I wasn't even there at the time as was in a meeting. I didn't realise he had done it till got out of meeting. He thought he was trying to help!

Well the coil issue is my boss fault as it was dark when he was putting oil in and missed so and oil went everywhere and the RAC man said the coils were covered in oil......... He said this within a minute of looking at engine before even checking anything else as there was oil everywhere......

I am really hoping the engine isn't seized. It was only in May it was in Leicester Audi to have the nox sensor and another replaced which cost just under £800. Do the sensors play up a lot of Audi's?

On Friday on the M25 my oil light came on. I got onto the M1 went to the services and filled it up. The light stayed on so on Sunday I checked oil and there was only a little bit in it, so I put some more in (didn’t drive it on sat or sun) and the oil light was still on. I drove to the hosp...

Yeah that's the choice you get. Which one though as surely it could be one of three of them? SP30, SP20 or SP60? Or does the number represent the limit on whatever road you were on? (probably a really stupid thing to ask!)

I need some new pads and discs (have managed to warp my discs again :roll:) Anyway as when i get back from holiday in April I will be selling my car I am not going to go for Ferrodo Pads this time. Anyways Ben works for Honda - he has spoken to the parts dept and he can get honda standard...

Yup de-cat. Both Exhaust and induction kit in HKS. About 6 months ago my vtec controller was re set up due to something not right on it and it was idling too low. That was all rectified though. Do I just need my ECU checked out then do you think?

It used to happen every now and then but now its doing it quite a bit. Whenever I let my foot off the accelerator quite a bit, it back fires and popples. Could this be my timing out or something? :? Is it anything to worry about?

When i bought my car there was standard pads - and I warped the discs (too late and hard braking apprently! :lol: :oops: ) when first had them put on i nearly went through the windscreen! :wink:

I have got ferrodo DS2500 pads on mine and they are shit hot! 8) I assume they will as good on yours but not sure. I use standard discs with them. Had to replace pads and discs twice now! go for them everytime. About £100.

I have got a steering lock but cant use it - as its one that goes over the steering wheel and the momo one in my car has the horn in the middle therefore the lock presses on the horn. Used to try really carefully to place lock on wheel - but then just as walking away the horn would start...

I've transfered the other way round before which suppose is a bit different. I had one month left on my XR2i when got my teg so tesco just wanted a few quid more to transfer from that to the teg. but suppose thats them making more money not losing it

I use Sainsbury's super unleaded now after the stupid prices of Optimaz and BP ultimate and dont notice any difference except it is cheaper! And every penny counts now as fuel bill is nearly £80 a week :shock: :shock: :roll:
